Erichsen Universal Sheet Metal Testing Machine

The Universal Sheet Metal Testing Machines by Erichsen offer powerful forming simulation capabilities, supporting standard and advanced tests such as Erichsen cupping, deep-drawing, hole expansion, bulge tests, and forming limit curve (FLC) analysis. Designed for flexibility, these machines accommodate various tool systems, digital measurement modules, and thermal options—making them perfect for complex material characterization and forming optimization.

  • Model 134
    • 134 (120 kN) – Electro-hydraulic model for standard cupping and deep-drawing tests. Includes fully automatic operation and modular expandability.
  • Model 142
    • 142-20-Basic – 200 kN force, for basic forming and cupping tests.
    • 142-40-Basic – 400 kN force, higher capacity for more demanding applications.
    • 142-20 – Enhanced 200 kN version with more advanced tooling options.
    • 142-40 – Full-feature 400 kN version, FLC-capable and hot drawing-ready (up to 550 °C).
  • Model 145
    • 145-60-Basic – 600 kN capacity, standard tooling for cupping and deep drawing.
    • 145-60 – Full 600 kN system for advanced testing: LDH, FLC (ISO 12004), hole expansion, bulge, etc.
    • 145-100 – 1000 kN capacity for large-format or high-resistance material testing.
  • Model 146
    • 146-60 – High-speed 600 kN model with speeds up to 3000 mm/min and thermal testing up to 700 °C.
    • 146-100 – High-speed 1000 kN version with full automation support, triple-action hydraulics, and advanced forming tools.
